Pay Your Nonrefundable Enrollment Deposit
Beginning with the Fall 2012 term, IUPUI will require admitted freshmen to submit a nonrefundable enrollment deposit of $100 to accept their offer of admission to the University. The deadline for this deposit submission is May 1, 2012. All other students, including freshmen admitted for the spring or summer terms, are not required to submit this deposit.
The enrollment deposit is only required for new freshmen admitted for the fall term. Freshmen admitted for the spring or summer, transfer, returning, second degree, and visiting students are all exempt from this deposit, and can confirm their enrollment here. Additionally, students requiring F1 student visas or J1 exchange scholar visas are NOT required to pay the enrollment deposit.

What is the enrollment deposit, and where is it applied?
IUPUI's new enrollment deposit is a deposit of $100 to reserve your space at the University. Freshmen admitted for the fall term are asked to provide this deposit by May 1, or within 3 weeks of admission to IUPUI. This is not a fee, but rather, will be applied to your first tuition bill.
Is the enrollment deposit refundable?
No, the enrollment deposit is a nonrefundable deposit. Students who submit their deposit, and decide to enroll at another institution will forfeit their deposit.
Will I be able to register for classes before submitting my deposit?
No, students must attend New Student Orientation prior to enrolling in fall classes. To be eligible for New Student Orientation, you must first provide your enrollment deposit.
Will I be able to sign up for housing before submitting my deposit?
Yes, students are eligible to apply and reserve their spot for campus housing prior to submitting their enrollment deposit. In fact, due to the volume of housing applications we receive, it is strongly encouraged that you submit your housing application before the March 15 priority housing deadline.
Who can request a waiver from the enrollment deposit?
Students who are receiving a scholarship or award that covers their tuition may request a waiver (linked above) to the enrollment deposit. This includes students who are Indiana 21st Century Scholars.
