Summer and Fall Extended Deadlines
Summer Session 1 (May) Nondegree applicants: Due to the proximity to the start of the semester, applicants for the first summer session must submit a paper copy of the application. Online applications for the first summer session will not be processed. :: Download and Print the Paper Application
Summer Session 2
Freshmen, Transfer, Intercampus Transfer and Second Applicants: Apply by May 9. All application materials must be received by May 23.
Returning IUPUI Students, IUPUI Staff and Faculty, Military Personel and Veterans (children and spouses included): Apply by May 30. All application materials must be received by this date. Paper applications must be submitted after May 9.
Visiting and Nondegree: Apply by July 12 All application materials must be received by this date. Paper applications must be submitted after May 30.
Fall 2012
Freshmen, Transfer, Intercampus Transfer and Second Applicants: Apply by May 17. All application materials must be received by May 31.
Returning IUPUI Students, Second Degree Applicants with IU or IUPUI Bachelors, IUPUI Staff and Faculty, Military Personel and Veterans (children and spouses included): Apply by July 26. All application materials must be received by this date. With the exception of Returning students, paper applications must be submitted after May 16.
Visiting and Nondegree: Apply by August 27. All application materials must be received by this date. Paper applications must be submitted after July 26.

Earlier dates for certain programs may apply. After these dates, admissions for that term may close without advanced notice. Please note that Dental Hygiene & Dental Assisting, Social Work, and all the Undergraduate Medical School Health Profession Programs have strict application deadlines for those students who have met all entrance requirements and who wish consideration for entry directly into the major. - Applications will be accepted until noon on the last weekday of registration.
Financial Aid
- March 10th is the priority date for filing the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA).
- Deadlines for loan applications may be found at the Office of Student Financial Aid Services.
