As an adult learner at IUPUI you have several potential paths available to further your education, whether you are starting your first undergraduate degree, pursuing your masters, or just taking some classes for personal enrichment. When applying as an undergraduate student, please keep in mind that the admissions committee will require all necessary transcripts prior to making a decision on your application. Every undergraduate application is evaluated individually.

If you are attending college for the first time, you are an Incoming Freshman.
If you have attended another Indiana Unversity campus, but did not complete a degree, you are an IU Intercampus Transfer.
If you attended at another college or university, including any Purdue campus, and plan to complete your degree at IUPUI, you are a Transfer Student.
If you enrolled at IUPUI before but did not complete a degree, and wish to enroll in classes again, you are a Returning Student.
Are you pursuing your Master's, Doctorate, or Professional degree? If so, you are a Graduate Student.
Do you want to earn a second bachelor's degree? You will be an Undergraduate Student.
Don't want to earn a second degree, but want to take undergraduate courses for credit, personal or professional enrichment, or as a prerequisite for a graduate degree? If so, you are a Visiting Non-degree Student.
Want to take graduate courses or a combination of undergraduate courses? If so, you are a Visiting Graduate Non-degree Student.
