IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban research university. The campus enrolls more than 30,000 students in 21 schools and academic units.
Welcome to the IUPUI Counselor Connection! This site is an online resource provided to high school guidance counselors to assist them with informing their students about admissions, academics and life at IUPUI.
Freshman applicants who are currently in high school are required to provide the Office of Undergraduate Admissions with a completed counselor information form in order to complete their application for admission. Download Counselor Form
Unlike applicants, high school guidance counselors are not able to access our online student services portal, OneStart, to check the status of an application. If you are currently assisting a student in checking their status, we highly recommend that you direct them to the instructions on http://enroll.iupui.edu/admissions/status/. Otherwise, you may contact the assistant director who is the liaison with your school. If you are not sure who this person is, contact:
Scott McIntyre
Associate Director of Admissions for Recruitment and High School Outreach

If you would like to schedule a visit to IUPUI, or request a visit to your school, or our presence at a fair, contact:

If you are arranging a visit for one of your students, please direct them to visit.iupui.edu.
Students who do not meet the admissions criteria set forth by the IUPUI Admissions Standards board are deferred to either Ivy Tech Community College, or a local community college within their area. In order to complete the contract required by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, and subsequently enroll at IUPUI, deferred students must enroll in the following classes:
Specific courses transferable from ITCC can be found online at www.iupui.edu/~ivy. These courses are recommended as they tend to count towards most majors offered on our campus, while providing students with the necessary foundation to transition from high school into a four-year program. Once a student has completed the outlined courses with grades of C or higher, and has contacted our office at least X months before the start of semester, they will be guaranteed admission to IUPUI.
