IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban research university. The campus enrolls more than 30,000 students in 21 schools and academic units.
The process for transferring between Indiana University campuses is typically quick and easy. Students are considered intercampus transfers so long as they attended another IU campus in a degree program, and did not complete a bachelor's degree, regardless if they attended any other institutions since the last time they attended IU. Whether you are looking for a change of scenery, or if you are in a program that requires you to take classes at IUPUI, we're here to help you through the process.
If you have attended another Indiana University campus as a degree-seeking student and have not completed your first undergraduate degree, the process is different than transferring from another school. You are a Permanent Intercampus Transfer.
If you are currently enrolled in an undergraduate Indiana University program at another IU campus, and wish to transfer to IUPUI for the summer or a single Fall/Spring semester but complete your degree at your current IU campus, you will be a Temporary Intercampus Transfer.
Are you a previous Indiana University student who wants to earn a second bachelor's degree? You will be an Undergraduate Student.
Are you a previous IUPUI student, but did not finish your undergraduate degree? You are a Returning Student.
