IUPUI is Indiana's premier urban research university. The campus enrolls more than 30,000 students in 21 schools and academic units.
Applying as a Permanent Intercampus Transfer student is much different than applying as a student who has never attended an Indiana University campus. Once you complete the electronic application, our office will evaluate your application and academic record. You will then receive a formal letter through the U.S. Mail, to the address you put on your application, detailing what steps you need to take next.
When completing the application, make sure to list every college and university you have attended. If you have attended another college (but did not complete a bachelor's degree) outside the Indiana University system, you must provide us with an official copy of your transcripts. We will not be able to process your application until all of this documentation has been received.
If you have an IU cumulative Grade Point Average below 2.0 or were previously dismissed from the university, it is important to realize there may be additional steps you will need to take prior to your admission decision. In such cases, please apply by September 15 for Spring admission or March 1 for Fall admission.
