Applicants with Bachelor's Degree

Personal Enrichment

If you have a bachelor's degree and wish to take undergraduate courses for personal enrichment or to meet admission requirements into graduate schools.

  • Begin the online application by clicking the "Apply Today" button in the top navigation.
  • Once you are within the application, select the educational background that best reflects your status.
  • For the description of your current student status, select the "A bachelor’s degree holder"
  • If your degree was conferred through an IU or Purdue campus, your application fee will be waived, as long as you appropriately list the campus that conferred your degree on the "Application Information" tab of the online application.
  • For the section Select the description of your academic plans, select: "Take undergraduate classes for personal enrichment (Not typically eligible for financial aid consideration)"
  • On the Planned Major/Program section of the "General Information" tab of the online application, for question "Planned Major," select "Have 4-year degree/course for personal enrichment or pre-reqs for GRAD."
  • You must provide an unofficial copy of your undergraduate transcript showing the degree earned and the date the degree was awarded.
  • As a bachelor degree holder seeking to be undergraduate non degree. you may only register for undergraduate courses. If you wish to take undergraduate and graduate courses during the same term, or just graduate courses, you must apply as a Graduate Non-Degree student. You will be assessed graduate level fees.

Professional School Requirements

If you have a bachelor's degree and wish to complete required undergraduate courses for entry into medical, dental, pharmacy, veterinary, physical therapy, or occupational therapy.

  • Begin the online application by clicking the "Apply Today" button in the top navigation.
  • Once you are within the application, select the educational background that best reflects your status.
  • For the description of your current student status, select the "A bachelor’s degree holder"
  • If your degree was conferred through an IU or Purdue campus, your application fee will be waived, as long as you appropriately list the campus that conferred your degree on the "Application Information" tab of the online application.
  • For the section Select the description of your academic plans, select: "Take prerequisites for a graduate or professional program (Not typically eligible for financial aid consideration)"
  • On the Planned Major/Program section of the "General Information" tab of the online application, for question "Planned Major," select "Take Courses for Med, Dent, Pharm, Vet, PT, OT and PhysAsst only.".

Teacher Certification-Students who have a bachelor’s degree and wish to be licensed to teach in elementary or secondary school.

  • If you have a teaching license and wish to renew or add to the license you must apply through the School of Education. However, for teachers seeking an additional certification in Drivers Education, please see the section below.
  • Begin the online application by clicking the "Apply Today" button in the top navigation.
  • Once you are within the application, select the educational background that best reflects your status.
  • For the description of your current student status, select the "A bachelor’s degree holder"
  • If your degree was conferred through an IU or Purdue campus, your application fee will be waived, as long as you appropriately list the campus that conferred your degree on the "Application Information" tab of the online application.
  • For the section Select the description of your academic plans, select: "Take undergraduate classes for personal enrichment (Not typically eligible for financial aid consideration)."
  • On the Planned Major/Program section of the “General Information” tab of the online application, for question “Planned Major,” select “Take Courses for Teacher Certification.”

Driver’s Education Certification

Licensed teachers seeking certification for Driver’s Education may not apply online. Instead, Print the application and mail or hand carry it in along with the application fee and credentials. (IUPUI, IU and Purdue graduates do not need to pay an application fee nor does anyone who has taken courses at any campus of IU or IUPUI.)
