Transfer Students

Important Information for Transfer Applicants

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will no longer accept degree-seeking applications for the Fall 2008 after Tuesday, July 1. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their application with all official transcripts and test scores (when applicable) to ensure your application is reviewed in time for Fall enrollment. All transcripts and test scores sent after an application has been submitted must be received no later than July 15th.

College students who wish to attend IUPUI for a summer or a single term must apply as a non-degree student.

Note: Students admitted into pre professional programs by Office of Undergraduate Admissions have not been admitted into the major. Programs such as nursing, dental assisting, dental hygiene, social work, and all medical undergraduate programs require completion of all requirements plus submission of a school application for consideration for the major. For deadlines and additional information see the Web sites for the appropriate IUPUI school.

If you are a U.S. citizen or a non citizen with permanent resident, refugee or asylee status and you have completed one full year of U.S. university/college level education (24 sem. hours/36 qtr. hours) and no more than one year of post-secondary education outside the U.S., you will apply through the Undergraduate Admissions Office. Official secondary school and all higher education documents (where necessary accompanied by an English translation by a certified translator) must be provided as part of the application. All other prospective students (including U.S. citizens educated outside of the United States) will apply through the Office of International Affairs. Consult the Office of International Affairs for more information and an application.
