Transfer Students

Do you have a Bachelor's degree?

Important Information for Transfer Applicants

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions will no longer accept degree-seeking applications for the Fall 2008 after Tuesday, July 1. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their application with all official transcripts and test scores (when applicable) to ensure your application is reviewed in time for Fall enrollment. All transcripts and test scores sent after an application has been submitted must be received no later than July 15th.

Before you complete any forms consult, the Transfer Students page to make sure we are accepting applications for the term you wish enter. After designated dates, it is too late to use any of these forms.

  • All students holding a bachelor's degree who now wish to enroll in a second degree must apply through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Please note that bachelor degree holders are not considered for second bachelors degrees in business or social work. Applicants for these areas are advised to consider the Masters degree.

  • Students who have earned their bachelor's degrees outside of IU must file a transfer application. You may file an application by downloading a PDF file of our transfer application or you may apply online. Students who wish to earn a bachelor of science in nursing should file an application for a second degree and list accelerated nursing degree option as the major.

  • Students who have a bachelor's degree from any IU campus or IUPUI should complete the following special application form. IPFW students who have earned a Purdue bachelor's degree must apply as a Purdue transfer.

  • Students have earned a bachelor's degree and now wish to complete undergraduate course requirements for entry into graduate programs, professional schools (medical, dental, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or veterinary medicine), or teacher certification must apply as an undergraduate non-degree student. Note that student may take only undergraduate courses under this enrollment status i.e. courses numbered below 500.
