This information applies to students wishing to transfer from universities other than Indiana University, Purdue University and the Community College of Indiana at Indianapolis.
Before you complete any forms, consult information for transfer applicants to make sure we are accepting applications for the term you wish enter. After designated dates, it is too late to use any of these forms.
Research our schools for your program of choice. If you are undecided select undecided or exploratory. Do not select General Studies unless you wish a degree in General Studies. For more information about the General Studies Degree programs, click here.
Read the admission requirements.
Provide official copies of transcripts for every college attended. Faxed copies are not acceptable. (you may print this form, attach a check or money order and mail to your former colleges. You should call first to determine the cost of ordering your transcript).
If you completed fewer than 26 hours of transferable college work, submit an official copy of your high school transcript or GED scores. (You may print this form, attach a check or money order and mail to your high school. You should call first to determine the cost of ordering your transcript).
If you have (a) applied to IUPUI within the past 18 months, or (b) you have enrolled in courses at IUPUI, DO NOT APPLY ONLINE. Instead, click here to submit an application update form electronically.
If step #5 does not pertain to you, complete the on-line application. You are applying as a transfer student. You are either seeking an associate's degree (2 year degree), a bachelor's degree (4 year degree), or a certificate (one year program).
Please note that submission of an online application requires payment of the application fee using a credit card at the time of submission. This fee is non-refundable. If you do not wish to apply on-line, you may print the application and mail it with a check for $50 payable to IUPUI. If you have earned an associate's degree from Ivy Tech or Vincennes University or you have earned 45 semester hours at Ivy Tech or Vincennes and you are currently enrolled, you are excused from paying the application fee provided you use the paper application or the PDF application. All on line applicants must pay the non refundable $50 fee.
